Obsessed with turning moments into cinema.

I’m Joe Grayston, a Birmingham-based editor, animator and VFX artist working internationally. For over a decade I’ve specialised in cinematic storytelling — from film and broadcast to branded campaigns and corporate productions. My focus is simple: polished colour, sound and VFX that elevate every frame.


I started as an apprentice editor in 2017 and have since worked with clients including the BBC, Volvo, Amazon Prime, the BFI, 104 Films, Diageo, Pirelli, Big Green Coach, Jon Denton, and many more. Whether on set or in post, I bring hands-on experience collaborating with directors and meeting high-level client demands.

Outside of client work, I’ve built a YouTube channel with nearly 20,000 subscribers, produced and performed my own music, and DJ’d across Birmingham.

Storytelling, rhythm and atmosphere have always driven my creativity.


Looking forward, the goal is to expand into big film projects while continuing to deliver cinematic quality to every commission.
